Rural Development is an imperative for Africa to grow and develop economically; socially and politically. In South Africa in particular; Chapter 6 of the National Development Plan (Vision 2030); An Integrated Inclusive Rural Economy; is specific in ensuring that progress needs to be seen in the development of rural communities. The United Nations also echo the same sentiment; “To achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 2063); progress must be ensured in developing rural communities across all nations” It is for this reason that Bakwena Ba Mogopa Community Development Foundation (BBM-CDF) has chosen to be part of this strategy by facilitating and fast-tracking the necessary development in our rural communities.
Bakwena Ba Mogopa Communities are abound by natural assets; especially minerals beneath our land; from Vanadium; Platinum; Iron Ore to Quarries. It is Government determination and assertion that such natural assets must contribute towards the development of such communities.
We call on all professionals within the Bakwena-Ba-Mogopa (BBM) communities; to come together and contribute their skills and expertise in assisting in the development of the BBM communities. As we are Rethinking; Reorganising and Reimagining rural development….

Approved Public Benefit Organisation (PBO)
Bakwena Ba Mogopa Community Development Foundation is an approved Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) in terms of the South African Income Tax Act. This approval confirms that our organisation meets the statutory requirements for income tax exemption and operates exclusively for approved public benefit activities.
Our PBO status enables donors and funding partners to make tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Section 18A of the Income Tax Act, providing assurance that funds are managed responsibly, transparently, and applied directly towards sustainable community development and poverty-alleviation initiatives.
This certification affirms our eligibility to partner with government institutions, donors, and funding agencies in delivering compliant, accountable, and high-impact social programmes.
